Papers must be registered on EDAS and submitted in PDF format. We use EDAS system for submission of papers and review process. Unregistered authors should first create an account on EDAS to log on. Detailed usage instruction on EDAS can be found here. The manuscript MUST follow the standard IEEE camera-ready format (IEEE standard format, double column, 10-point font). All papers must include title, complete contact information for all authors, abstract, and keywords on the cover page. Please double-check the paper size in your page setup to make sure you are using the letter-size paper layout (8.5 inch X 11 inch).
The IEEE templates in Microsoft Word (US Letter) and LaTeX format can be found at :

The paper should not contain page numbers or any special headers or footers. Please compare all author names in EDAS with the author list in your paper. They must be identical and in the same order. Do not use academic titles (Dr., Prof.....) with the name of authors.

CSI'22 accepts three types of manuscripts:

  • Regular Paper
  • Short Paper (Work-in-Progress)
  • Poster Paper

The maximum length of a paper is 10 pages (no extra page charges). Regardless of the category in which a paper was submitted, the Committee may move it to a different category depending on the review recommendations. The conference only accepts full manuscripts with minimum 3 pages. Manuscripts with less than 3 pages will not be considered for review. Regular papers should present novel perspectives within the general scope of the conference. Short papers (Work-in-Progress) are an opportunity to present preliminary or interim results. Posters are intended for ongoing research projects, concrete realizations, or industrial applications/projects presentations.

All submitted papers will be subjected to a "similarity test" by EDAS paper similarity checker. Papers achieving a high similarity score  (>23) will be examined and those that are deemed unacceptable will be rejected/withdrawn without a formal review. Authors will be given the option to revise their manuscripts based on the similarity report prior to the start of the review in order to improve the quality of the manuscript.

All manuscripts that conform to submission guidelines will be peer reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical and/or research content/depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability (single-blind peer review, minimum three reviews per paper). The minimum length of the review period is 30 days. Authors will be notified of the outcome of the review process which includes the anonymous suggestions and recommendations of the reviewers. Acceptance of papers will be communicated to authors by email. Authors of accepted papers will be given at least 20 days to revise their manuscripts in response to reviewers' comments. Authors will also be instructed to upload a file containing the revisions they made to their final papers in response to reviewers' comments.
The papers under regular and work-in-progress categories will be scheduled for oral presentation. Posters will be presented during sessions reserved for posters (Each poster session has two parts - a short oral presentation followed by display of poster). Independently of the presentation type, all papers are included in the proceedings. To be published in the Conference Proceedings, an author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference at the full rate.
