Venue

The venue of the conference is Kerala University of Digital Sciences, Innovation and Technology (KUDSIT), also known as Digital University Kerala (DUK). KUDSIT is a state university located in Technocity, Trivandrum, Kerala, India. It was established by the Government of Kerala in 2020 by upgrading the Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Kerala (IIITM-K), Technopark, Trivandrum. It is Kerala's 14th public university and it's first digital university. DUK is recognized by the UGC and AICTE.

The responsibility of the DUK is to contribute to all fields of knowledge in a manner that prioritizes public engagement to help improve the quality of life in our state, the nation, the world. It gives more emphasis on disruptive technologies such as the Internet of Things, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain and Cybersecurity. Besides, the University emphasizes Electronic Design and Automation, Informatics, Digital Biosciences, and Digital Humanities. There are currently five schools at the university: the School of Computer Science and Engineering, the School of Electronic Systems and Automation, the School of Digital Sciences, the School of Informatics, and the School of Digital Humanities and Liberal Arts. The schools currently offer M.Tech, MSc, and Ph.D programmes with a range of specializations. The University's research activities are spread across several research centres, including the Centre for Research and Innovation in Cyber Threat Resilience (CRICTR), the Centre for Smart and Connected Systems (CSCS), Sixth Sense: A Centre of Excellence in Cognitive Computing, the Center of Excellence in Pattern and Image Analysis (CEPIA), the Virtual Resource Centre for Language Computing (VRCLC), the Center of Excellence in Brain Computing (CEBC), the Augmented and Virtual Reality Center (AVRC), and the Centre for Research in Social Computing (RiSC). Maker Village is the country's largest electronic hardware incubator and ESDM facility. It is a pioneering startup initiative of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology of the Government of India, with the IIITM-K/DUK serving as the implementation agency. DUK also hosts “Cisco thingQbator,” a platform for sharpening digital skills and helping students to learn in a hands-on environment, turn their ideas into working prototypes and develop local solutions to local problems. Kerala Blockchain Academy (KBA), is an initiative of the Government of Kerala under the DUK for offering blockchain training in multiple domains.
