Instructions for Authors of Accepted Papers

Please revise your paper carefully according to the comments of the reviewers. Papers must be formatted according to the guidelines of Springer Smart Innovation, Systems and Technologies Series. Failure to do so may result in the exclusion of your paper from the proceedings. Please read the authors' instructions carefully before preparing your paper. Each paper is allowed to have 15 pages in the final camera-ready copy. If your paper length exceeds 15 pages, please write to intelligent.informatica@gmail.com.

Important Steps

1.Complete your registration.

The instructions for completing your registration are posted at https://connected-systems.org/isi2022/registration.html

2. Login to EDAS and choose your paper.

3. Upload your Camera ready paper (Final Paper) in PDF format on EDAS.

The camera ready paper should be formatted according to the Smart Innovation, Systems and Technologies Series' Springer template. This template can be downloaded here: https://www.springer.com/gp/authors-editors/conference-proceedings/conference-proceedings-guidelines

4. Upload the source files of your camera ready paper (WORD or Latex) on EDAS. All Latex files should be submitted as a single zipped file.

5. Submit the copyright form in PDF or image formats from the "Copyright" column in the My papers table or the individual paper page of EDAS.

Each contribution must be accompanied by a Springer copyright form. One author may sign (digitally signed documents not accepted) on behalf of all of the authors of a particular paper. In this case, the author signs for and accepts responsibility for releasing the material on behalf of any and all co-authors.

Submission Intructions (Submission closed)

Authors should submit their papers online. We use EDAS system for submission of papers and review process. Unregistered authors should first create an account on EDAS to log on. Detailed usage instruction on EDAS can be found here.

For the preparation of review mansucripts, please use Springer template. This template can be downloaded from https://www.springer.com/us/authors-editors/conference-proceedings/conference-proceedings-guidelines

Maximum size limits of a paper is 14 pages in single-column Springer LNEE style. Authors MUST use Springer template for submitting their papers. ISI'22 accepts two categories of papers: Regular Papers and Short Papers. Manuscripts with less than 6 pages will not be considered for review. Regular papers should present novel perspectives within the general scope of the conference. Short papers (Work-in-Progress) are an opportunity to present preliminary or interim results. The manuscript should not contain page numbers or any special headers or footers. Please compare all author names in EDAS with the author list in your paper. They must be identical and in the same order.

All submitted papers will be subjected to a "similarity test" by EDAS paper similarity checker. Papers achieving a high similarity score will be examined and those that are deemed unacceptable will be rejected/withdrawn without a formal review. All papers that conform to submission guidelines will be peer reviewed and evaluated on the basis of their originality, technical and/or research content/depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability (single-blind peer review, minimum three reviews per paper). The minimum length of the review period is 30 days. Authors will be notified of the outcome of the review process which includes the anonymous suggestions and recommendations of the reviewers. Acceptance of papers will be communicated to authors by email. Authors of accepted papers will be given minimum 20 days time to revise their papers based on reviewers’ comments. Additionally, authors will be asked to upload a file containing the revisions they made to their final papers in response to reviewer comments.

The papers under regular and work-in-progress categories will be scheduled for oral presentation. Independently of the presentation type, all papers are included in the proceedings. To be published in the Proceedings, an author of an accepted paper is required to register at the full rate.
